the teacher wasn't played by Steve Carrell, but SC would have made for a great Sector 7 jerk.  loved the movie tho'...

also... i saw the movie again from a good distance back, and on a much smaller screen, and i thought the action sequences were great.  still can't recommend that anyone else sees it only 3 rows back from a huge screen... not to mention at the end of an aisle--unless you really dig motion sickness smiley8

I agree, the old movie and the shows were almost even camera time between the Auotbots and Decepticons. It was back and forth and that helped give depth to both sides. This movie was a little unbalance but i think that was mainly because they wanted the new Transformers fans to really fall in love with the autobots. I think the 2nd movie will have a lot more Decepticon screen time in it. I agree on the violence and language, it was not over used.

It's just a very fun and well done movie and it's pretty much totally clean. Plus... there's a new goofy cartoon so... it wins.

Finally saw it and now I must own it. I have not seen NT2 but I agree with dave but with nt1 instead. I haven't seen the sequel yet, not much for Cage either.

Yes NT2 is a good clean movie, and enjoyable, but nowhere near the level of movie Transformers was.

There are movies that are on par with Transformers that I would expect people to pick as their favorite instead, even though TF would still be my pick, But NT2 ain't one of em!
