I first heard about this in church yesterday morning from our pastor and I decided to watch it today first hand. This is incredible...an African pastor, died in a car crash, 3 days in the morgue and then raised from the dead... this is a must watch. i wasnt aware we couldnt discuss spiritual things here....thought it was Christ centered...oh well maybe its just semi-Christ centered.

spiritual discussion related to music is allowed, but the mods were finding it hard to referee intensely spiritual discussion so it was outlawed.

Basically we may have different opinions about things like this, but lets not let it separate the unity we have in Christ and dance music eh...

i agree with you rodimus, it makes me sad quite often that i cant freely express myself simply as a christian, and not pertaining to music at all, but thats what pm's im's email, and other forums are for i guess... :-/

didn't have time to watch this, but i will say this.

i have heard multiple times from different sources - usa pastors get together at conferences and brag about how many new members they have gotten over the past year. african pastors get together and brag about how many people they raised from the dead in the past month.

I just want to say a few things.

Nate this website has a long history of people dividing over spiritual discussions that started off just as simple as your initial post. Fact is that many do not agree with other's opinions on spiritual matters. How do you think there are so many differing denominations? So, yeah, TF has had many member's leave and a few that had to be banned because they were causing so much drama about a difference in spiritual and political matters. Eventually all political and spiritual discussions were banned completely

A few years ago, we all (who were members at the time) took a vote about allowing spiritual and political discussions on these boards within the context of two categories: Prayer/praise & it has to have something related to dance music. IE: you can post that this video is a praise report. You can also post something along the lines of "Is is scriptural for Christians to attend raves?"

When I was a mod, I would have to have locked this thread simply based on the fact that it falls out of the guidelines for a spiritual discussion.

The rules are not there to keep us from talking about Jesus, they are there to keep us from fighting with ourselves. We are a Christ-centered community and we'd like to keep it a commUNITY.

On aside note, I do think that video is awesome. God is amazing.
