What's up with everyone this week?  it seems as if it's been nothing but petty bickering about trifling matters.  For a group of people that calls itself Christains,  we're sure not acting like it....Myself included....

Let's go to the Book of James for some guidance...

"The tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do" (James 3:5)."

"Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry" (James 1:19)."

We should also be aware of this passage from Romans....
Romans 3:9-11, “What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. As it is written: ‘There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.”

This one from Colossians....
Colossians 3:12-13, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

This one from Colossians about being aware that non-believers are watching us here....
Colossians 4:5-6, "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

Satan works when believers argue.  He works even better when we argue about things involving religion/spirituality.  We all need to realize that people have different views on God and Christianity,  and respect those beliefs instead of kicking into "nuh uh,  you're wrong" mode.

I'm ashamed of myself honestly.  I'm backing out of all such discussion.
