wow i cant believe i almost missed this    im just gonna say a couple of things to think about and this really doesnt have to do with cstone in particular cuz i dont really know any of the bands. this is more of a minsitry thing in general.

audiobap - i agree with your point about being in ministry and that its NOT OK AT ALL to have sins in your life that are going to cause other to stumble or that are blatent disregards for what is right and Holy.  Pastors / ministers are called to a HIGHER standard of living then most Christians simply because they are the leaders. Now granted, idealy we should all strive for / reach this standard but the difference is they will be help MUCH more accountable for sins like, drinking, sex, drugs etc if they are in a place of ministry where their sins can do damage to others. Where as for example, me going and sneaking a beer after work or looking at a dirty website one night is still SIN for sure, BUT it most likely will not cause other Christians to sin therefore I'm only accountable to God for myself and my salvation not others that I may be affecting as well. (hope that makes sense)

oneel - i agree with you're statement about being led by God to use certian people / bands whatever to reach others or even to reach those being used. this is important for sure...my question is...is a band really a minister or a leader in ministry? i personally don't know. i guess that may be based on the situation and how they affect the fans around them. i do believe that a band that calls themselves Chrisitans yet blatently and flamboyently sins causing even ONE person to stumble becuase of thier sin will be JUDGE HARSHLY by God (not by us / man) and I can tell you that I wouldnt ever want to be in a place like that.

I guess my thing is its ALWAYS better to play it safe or be too strict / rightoues then not enough... I do believe God can and does use sinners to do his work. Look at most of the main leaders from the Bible... I would just be very cautious about stating "Hey I'm in the ministry" but still have major sin (issues that cause others to sin) in my life.
