up to 2/3 hours of LIVE MIXING or Live PA....(no "just pressing play")

1/2 of your track selections MUST HAVE AUDIBLE/LYRICAL CHRISTIAN CONTENT
(we are sorry to have to be this specific but we believe that the message must be BLATANT & unsubdued...so mix sets that are intrumental only will not be considered)

no less than a half hour offering personal testimony

no less than on half hour leading bible study for event attendee's

You must provide your own needles (sharing needles is durrrty-lol)
 
If event is on a Saturday night you will be expected to attened Church Service the next morning and be availible to the church youth that morning

we will make allowances for DJ's bringing ONE GUEST to include ONE OTHER MALE companion or WIFE and/ or Children.....Talent booked for AB events will NOT be permitted to lodge with Girlfriends/ fiance's (ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS) .....If it is requested IN ADVANCE that a girlfriend/ fiance' would like to travel along she will be REQUIRED to stay at a seperate residence... if a host family for the girlfried/ fiance' is NOT availible the cost of lodging for girlfriends will not be absorbed by AB ministries..(sorry)

references from the Sr. Pastor of your church would also be greatly appriciated...

oh and I dont see why someone in MUSIC MINISTRY should have a problem being asked to give their testimony or lead a Bible study for teens/ young adults........do you?

and I take Crazy person as a compliment--

Ask the DJ for his testimony when you book him. Talk to him on the phone. Hang out with him before you book him. Do things like this. Don't ask him to preach or teach to prove he's Christian enough. He may not be gifted in those areas and honestly... his theology may not line up with what you want taught in your church.

If you want the youth to know where he's coming from... let him just hang out with them once you've done what I've suggested above. That WILL communicate 10 times better than asking the DJ to preach.

true.  I don't have much music with christian vocals or samples in it.  I'm really picky about my music and its clean when doesn't have vocals and when it does it has some biblical meaning.

I agree, I suck at public speaking, and yeah I know Moses was too and God made the way, but even if I was a spiritual giant, I couldn't, not my gifting.  I'm more of a one on one person.

If it works... it works. It's just not how I would want to do it or expect it to be done. That's why I'm asking all the questions and challenging it.

More questions:

1) What is your criteria for this being a success?
2) How many people attend your events?
3) How many NEW people attend with each event?
4) How many of those new people return to later events?
