I just found out that the band I played with many years ago is playing at Cornerstone....

Blushing Well, Sanctuary Tent, Thursday 11:30 PM to 12:15 AM

Pretty cool!

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

You were talking currently. You must've missed where I wrote "many years ago". To still call myself a bass player at this point is to insult bass players worldwide!

Of sorts. My bass teacher was the lead guitarist for the band I played in. He taught me enough of the basics so that I could memorize the bass lines he taught me. I had good rhythm, but since we never got back to lessons once I joined the band, I never learned to write my own bass lines and ended up losing interest. Especially after I got married. Cool
