Artists get 100 free download cards to sell or give away for free.  This is much easier than handing out cd-r's (and cheaper).  If you are a label or an Artist I would highly recommend setting up your free site and getting your free download cards. 

It's nicer than just saying ...hey, I have a new tune up on the internet somewhere, see if you can find it on my website and stuff.

These cards come printed with your artwork and you can pass them out with codes on the back to redeem the downloads - set your own price, sell 'em for a buck or whatever.
