Here's Joel's new bio....
Joel armstrong is a guy. He lives in Vancouver. he makes music, and sometimes plays music. Joel is singlehandedly responsible for inventing the genre of House, but did so only after he taught Thomas Bangalter how to use a 303.
Joel was born in a small shack in Banff National Park in 1765 to Bulgarian immigrants. After completing his education at Bob's House of Power Tools, Joel became the first Prime Minister in Canadian history to hold the titles "Chancellor of the Exchecquer" and "Supreme Overlord of Ellsemere Island." He defeated the Nazis in 1871 shortly after building the first light bulb for Thomas Edison in Letohatchee, Alabama. Joel set his sights on biggert things at that time, such as developing a cure for Rabies and searching for the world's most perfect burrito.
in 1923, Joel moved to Bosnia where he singlehandedly put an end to internal problems by giving leaders of each side a shiny new penny to buy a pack of gum. He moved to Germany in 1939 to compete in the Olympics, but this was quickly cut short by the outbreak of Disco in 1969.
Today, Joel lives in the backwoods of Chilliwack in a small shed made entirely out of pop tarts with his pet gerbil, Superfly. Joel makes music on a Commodore 64 powered by nothing more than his positive energy.
now that sounds too good to be true!!!!

Ah, Oneel! That made my day!

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

This is another display of fine DJing skills by brothers in Christ. This is the first time I heard Matt spin and I am impressed. It is an exciting selection of tracks going all the way back to 81 or something like that
. Joels set is very techy and even industrial sometimes. I need to listen to it again to let it soak in. Its a little hard to take in the first time.
Yep! 1981. Nicely done!

Dave:
I don't know if you or anyone on the site is interested, but I am planning to record a Promo Mix of Gothic and Industrial soon. If you'd like, I'll submit it for the Podcast. If not, it'll be on my dj site at:

Craig,
I'd have to listen to it first. I don't think we're heading anywhere near Goth or Industrial right now.
Doug,
Glad you're still liking the show. The latest show's already up to 810 downloads and we have about 10 days until the next episode.
Next up officially is Quillroader and 3kStatic. This might be a bit odd for a combo. We'll just have to see how this one goes.
I should book myself again at some point, but there's too many ppl to feature.

LOL I skipped over the intro part when I listened to this the first time because I was at the gym and just wanted to get to the beats... now I'm listening to the whole thing and I was like, "whoa! that was my name in there!!" when you're talking about the generator stage
