This Church i Pastor requires graphics, web design, djs and many other people too. I do all these things. nevertheless there is much opprutunity for others to be involved

We are into multimedia (Graphic projection, Lightning, gospel Techno production, Video
filmin editing and distributing, flyers, shirts and such. basicly any idea you have for Jesus we will use!)

I'm curious. Have you contacted the Club Worship people yet? They might have a ton of advice for you since they have been doing something very similar for several years now.




I have been aware of what thier doing off and on. Any advice is and will be taken since this is a learning process.

The way i have Formed this we put the word of God 1st. Jesus has been planing and incorperating this church i oversee 12 years at this point. I helped pioneer many raves in the early 90s. the end of 95 i went into fulltime ministry. We have networked with nsoul records and have done great events with Phillip Kim for the past years. Nsoul supports what were are doing in pioneering a weekly full techno gospel church.

if you are genuine and really love the Lord then you must change several things about your ministry right away or no one will take you seriously. i'm just guessing from past expierances that I've had combined with a horrible website and your really bad english that this is a foreign scam of some sort. i pray (for your sake) that I'm wrong.

I think part of it is it looks like you're trying too hard to fit in and visually... it seems to be very dated.

From the little I've seen, that's what my take is at this point. I'd loose the suit, cut way back on the CG animations and get away from the psychedelics colors. This just isn't where things are going right now. You don't see that in any other promotions. Just as examples:

The club scene has left kandy kids and moved more onto something more sophisticated.

Beyond that, as far as the message goes, people really want to know the real Jesus. They don't want to know what he can do for them as a cookie jar, but as a personal friend. They also want to see him as real. A Hollywood/supper raver Jesus isn't going to attract them. At least I don't expect it would. That seems to be the very thing many people would try to run away from.

The question is: Is Jesus relevant today without having to put him into the mold of a raver?

I think he is. I think we don't have to repackage him. I do think we may need to reach out differently, but we don't have to repackage anything. From what I've seen, ravers are even more jaded than rockers so... we really have our work cut out for us. Trying to act cool won't do it b/c people know when others are acting. It needs to be genuine and it needs to be in a trusting way that builds bridges.

Keep in mind... I've never been to your events. I've only see your current promotional sites. This is what I've taken back from them. If I'm seeing what you are doing as a joke and a pathetic attempt to look cool, what are the ravers seeing?

I wish you the best with this, but you need to really examine your presentation. In many ways, simple house parties could be more effective than a 200 ppl facility.
