a few weeks ago, i was asked by the leadership here at YWAM brighton to come down and join staff in sept and staff the DTS they are trying to run as well as pioneer a permanent club ministry here in brighton. i also have the opportunity to staff a DTS at the established holmsted manor base (which is the base i am doing my DTS from)
i have really been praying about it and i am 99% sure that i need to be back here in england in september. i would probably be giving a 1 year commitment here in brighton or 1 - 2 year commitment to holmsted.
i just want to ask for some prayer about that. first off i need guidance as to where i need to be. i would like to come down here to brighton, but i am not sure that i want to start staffing in YWAM at a base that isnt off the ground just yet. i would rather staff some at an established base, but i also REALLY want to pioneer this club ministry. i dont know if i can do both, if i can be on house staff here in brighton and working on the club ministry while staffing the DTS at holmsted, but i will be looking into that. i also just need a peace about coming back here. there is alot here for me in opportunities for ministry and such, but i dont have alot of relationships and such. so im pretty worried about that. its really important for me to have 1 or 2 deep friendships and accountabilty/discipleship relationships. so please pray that if this is where God wants me, that He provides those for me, ideally outside of YWAM, possibly in a local church or something. there is a church down here in brighton, the brighton vineyard, that i really want to visit. but well see how that works out.
so yea, just guidance in where God wants me, peace about that, strength to move in that, provision so i can move and relationships here to support me.
