Yeah, the stylings are the same as the cartoon network's animated "mini" series from a few years ago. Evidentally, that was just a test bed for this series. For those in the know... The artist behind the styling is the same one that brought us Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack.

[...]Evidentally, that was just a test bed for this series. [...]

Whether that be true or not, I enjoyed the first 'Clone Wars' very much. For one thing, the characters were much more powerful than they were in RoTS. And I think the voice-actor for Grievous was much better in 'Clone Wars' than in Sith. The characterization was better too, in my opinion. He seemed a lot weaker in Sith compared to Clone Wars. I think it would've been more fitting to have him killed by a lightsabre than by a blaster (for the sake of a nostalgic quote by Kenobi). From what I heard in the trailer, it sounds like the voice-actor from Sith. Sad

Have you watched 'Clone Wars' yet, Dave?

I've seen some or all of the Clone Wars. It lacked dialog and was too short to really tell a story. Anyway... Grevious was injured severely b4 RotS. That happened in the book Labrinth of Evil which explains his weezing. I never finished reading that book for some reason. Honestly... I think it bored me. The prequel novels just aren't as good (yet).

Good point. It was also covered at the conclusion of Clone Wars (Right before Obi-Wan & Anakin chase after him in Sith). Mace injures him by force-crushing his "ribcage." And the voice-change could be explained (in-story) as an effect of his injury. But it sounds like the voice-actor from the movie is being used instead of the one from the first Clone Wars animation.

Perhaps for the first volume. The second volume had longer "chapters" and a lot more dialog/character development; the first being more action based. I've heard it's better watched on DVD since you can watch it continuously and as whole. I wouldn't be surprised if the books are better (or worse) in terms of plot, but it was worth it for me if only for the scene where Anakin goes through his final trial and to see him use his Force-crush for the first time.
