well, I "guess" it's good news  Roll Eyes ? LOL

I was told the swelling could take upwards to two months for it to go down. The majority of the swelling is actually muscle and he does not believe any more fluid is being produced. He still wants me on the diet for two months until the swelling goes away.

Basically, things are healing as expected and keep doing what I have been doing.

I paid a co-pay for that?  Roll Eyes

Glad to hear that you're normal. (Well, at least regarding the neck thing. Wink )

Yeah, I've had appointments where I've left thinking the same thing. Other annoying times are when I knew what's wrong with me but I still have to visit my primary care doc to be able to get the prescription, referral, whatever.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

That's why I don't go to doctors.  That, and their offices are only open during the day, never on evenings or weekends.  I have other things I'd rather spend PTO on.

Currently at work, sick, because again, I have things I'd rather spend PTO on.  I love Corporate America, where businesses think nothing about spending millions on buildings that they only completely tear down months later but stiff their employees and cheat them in every way possible.  *sigh*   smiley6

No. Everything is pretty much the same. regular doctors visits continue, neck is still swollen. tongue is still good, money is still drained and needed to pay for co-pays.

Thanks for checking in, Alex. It means a lot.

Hi there,

I've come in on this one really late.  But I still wanted to assure you of my (and my wife's) prayers and thoughts during this time.

Thanks, bro. I appreciate that. However, the cancer has been gone for a few months now since the surgury. God was very good to me.

This reminds me...Dave can we unsticky this? I mean, sure I still have financial needs for the med bills, but I don't want people to think that I still have cancer.
