Sorry to sound so dramatic about it. I posted the message below in the oral surgury thread, but I figured this news needs a new thread since I need all the prayer I can get right now. The following is copied from the other thread:

Well, after the biopsy results, it has been confirmed. I have a form of cancer on my tongue called squamous cell carcinoma (SCCA). Honestly, things do not look good. There is a 50% chance I will not be here in five years according to statistics.

I am not looking at that for my destiny, however. I know my Maker. I know He has a plan for me. If, by some chance, His plan is for me to die with this, I will accept it. As of now, I do not belive that, but if He makes it clear, then fine.

What is my next step? I am planning to do everything the doctors said to fight this. I am also planning to live every day of my life to the fullest. I am devoting as much time as possible to building One Life Radio to be the best Christian station possible. I am also planning a DJ tour. It has always been my dream to be able to play out as much as posisble and when faced with the prospect that I may not have much time left, I figure I owe it to myself to get crackin and live some of my dreams. I mean, if I were to die and never really got to enjoy life, what was the point?

Anyway, Just thought I'd extend the info to my Tastyfresh Family.

Father, just be with Chris. If it is your will, heal him as you are doing Brian. Perform a miracle in his life and use him as a miracle in others. Strengthen his family. Provide for them. Give them the courage they all need to face it. Help us to be here to support him in every way that we can.

I just can't believe this news. It isn't registering. Is this something that is aggressive? They can't isolate or retard this cancer? Is it operable?

Chris...I'm stunned. Just don't know what to say. I'm definitely taking some moments right now to lift you up bro! I love your response. You DO it man! You realize your dreams! I pray for your wife too, first her job then this! Man.

Chris, we love you over here bro. Will be lifting you and Crystal up and prayer, still plan on living your life to the fullest bro.
