I just got this mixer and I'm Flabbergasted!! There is like so many effects you don't know where to start..Plus the coolest thing for me is the Harmonic button. Esspecially for all those Funky and Trance lovers where mixing in tune is essential!!

I give it a BIG  Cool

nice choice, its a great mixer and one of my choices, but I went with the Ecler NUO4 cause it was closer to what I could afford and wanted and plus I want my effects separate cause I want to get the Kaoss 3

I don't use the effects much on my DJM600.  I'd like to get the DJM800 for the SPID/F option, but that's about it.  I love my 600.

I used to have the DJM 3000. Played on the 600 a few times though. I can honestly say that I used the effects sometimes but now with the 800 the effects are so cool you can't help but use it Grin

One of the banes of my existance is the freakin Pioneer flanger.  It's like the second someone gets their hands on a Pioneer mixer,  they seem to want to flip the flanger on and leave it on all the time.  It's okay when used sparingly,  but most people don't seem to comprehend that.

I don't know...I'd rather take the money I'd spend on the DJM-800 and get a nice solid Allen & Heath mixer.

Yeah, that drives me nuts.

I want a Xone 92, but it's still a lot more than the DJM800 still.

Well maybe in your country the Xone is more expensive than the 800 but in the UK it's £920 for the Xone 92 and £1099 for the 800.

I do agree with the over use of the Flanger that's why I think the now have the Filter and the sweep..they sound so cool and you can really create a huge build up smiley1

If I was a rich girl I would have bought the DJM 1000 but £1700 is just to much for a mixer Shocked

I'm not saying it needs much..but you can use flanger more with hard house than other music..that's just what I think.
