The PS3 (aka. BetamaxStation 3) launched today in europe. Microsoft did all kinds of things to thwart it, read about them here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6485483.stm

They (Microsoft) handed out chairs to those waiting with the url: http://shkyw.org

The Xbox 360 pwns. Period.

Nope. Sorry. Nintendo does. The system sales back it up: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6167512.html

M$ and Sony BOTH failed to be innovative and instead went a more traditional route, but with more than double the price tag. They BOTH morons.

Although, it does look like Blu-Ray will be the winner for new media format rather than HD-DVD. So... Sony got 1 thing right.

I love my 360!

I think the Wii is neat and imaginative, but ultimately the 360 was better.

Nice comeback!

360 is also neat and imaginative, but it has cool games along with the cool technology.

Wii is cool, but it's also novelty in a lot of ways to me, I found the technology appealing but once the novelty of the Wiimote has worn off, the games are kinda boring (with a few exceptions.)

I would agree DC, i borrowed my friends Wii, played on it for about a week, reached the PRO rating on the tennis and haven't played on it since (about 1-2weeks).

The Blu-ray/HD-DVD thing... HD-DVD is better than Blu Ray. Its better quality pictures - it may not have as much space as a blu ray, but the HD-DVD movie are said to be better looking on HD-DVD than on Blu Ray. Oh, and Sony misspelt Blue too.

The only reason the first batch of bluray looked so bad is they were from crappy film rips. The only restriction of quality is really the size of the media. The more space, the less compression they have to run the images in the MPEG stream through, resulting in better quality.

wii is "neat" though. i'll give it that. it's a "neat" little machine. i do love my DS, however. the graphics are comparable to wii in my opinion. hahaha.
