So... I got a joke last night on the Simpsons, but... I still decided it was time I KNEW the technical difference:

Hick: an unsophisticated, boorish, and provincial person; rube.
Yokel: a rustic; a country bumpkin.

Anyway... it was a great musical episode Smiley
