"Unrecognizable Now will be performing a set of music based around xylophones, ambient guitar and laptops. They will be sampling and processing xylophones, folding them into their live compositions based in texture and melody. Unrecognizable Now has become known for their audio/visual performances through the Vision+Hearing events they help curate at Holocene. Tonight will be no different... Portland Filmmaker Rob Tyler will be providing visual accompaniment for the nights set.

DJ Committee will be performing their showcase "More than Bliss" with ambient, noise, experimental, outsider pop, new folk, minimal and more on three turntables. The three dj as a team throughout the entirety of their sets. Expect to hear the multi-layering of noise tracks (Growing, Fennesz, Jackie-O-Mother*tasty edit*) contrasting and illuminating the beauty of pop songs from some of their perennially favorite records. DJ Committee will be joined tonight by Barcelona based DJ and music Journalist Philip Sherburne."

afaik there is only one person here in PDX (hi aaron).. so come on out i'll buy you a drink or some of the amazing belgian-style french fries they serve there.

i'll probably be spinning early to set a nice pleasant minimal tone for the evening. likely a bunch of raster and 12k sounds.

btw the visuals will be awesome, i've worked w/ rob and marc before.
