Aloha!

Please check out http://www.thisweekatbeatport.com for my new set. I really like the flow and the tracks are amazing.

The difficult and challenging aspect to being part of "This Week at Beatport" is having to throw together a full set in about a day. I shop all week, whittle down the list, download the tracks Saturday and than deliver the set by Sunday afternoon. Nailing down the flow and unfamiliar intros /outtros can be interesting. This definitely stretches me.

The website showcases different DJs and new music from the past week. I am excited to be in the first hour slot this week. Please provide your feedback, comments or constructive criticism. Due to the nature of tracking success for each week's show, I can not provide a direct mp3 link.

Thank you!

There are lots of great DJs and sets to check out at This Week at Beatport (www.thisweekatbeatport.com) especially if you like prog, electro, trance.

The sets that Pete Smalls creates are what he calls "Tour de Genres" where he will cover a lot of different genres in one set, somethime using over 30 tracks. He is a bit of an Ableton whiz so if you are into Ableton, you can hear some great inspiration.

For the most part, the other DJs are using CD decks, including me. Yet I could care less what you use...just deliver some killer tunes programmed with flow and style.
