I'm considering purchasing a subscription to 1 of the 3, BPM Culture, Mixmag, or DJmag, in your opinion, which is better from your standpoint view as a musician, producer, DJ, etc., you get the point.

well... DJ Mag was supposed to have died. I know its still around, but yeah... It was on the brink last year. I'd avoid that one. Take a look at the material online for free and make an informed decision. Maybe you don't need a subscription at all.

I would say Mixmag.   Unless URB is still around. I liked that one back in the day.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound

Urb doesn't have much about "rave" music anymore. Mostly hip-hop, jazz, avante-garde type stuff. It used to be the bomb back in the day.

I've picked up a few copies of Mixmag in my day- Love the Cd's- tends to be a bit of filth in such magazines though.

http://www.eb-slices.net/

I've never seen a copy- but its a german produced techno mag,

www.detroiteq.com

this magazine is just about dead already- Started off as a detroit Techno Mag.  But i strongly suggest buying their first 2 issues- cause they come with cd's, the others do not.

i have never been impressed with either future or computer music. always seemed more tutorial in nature which typically turns me off.

which every other wanna be producer gets and uses like mad. Wink Just b/c they're free doesn't mean they are quality. Of course... outside of individual drum hits... I'm not a fan of sampling.
