The Sequel to the Narnia film.

shooting begins over here in 2 weeks (I think).

Undisclosed locations, but most of the film will be shot in stages in USA & Britian.

Will it match up to the first??
Will it be better??

Filming will beging on the third series once this one goes into production.

Well I am not putting much stock into it. It's probably going to equal Lion, Witch & Wardrobe in production value since it's the same people doing it (right?).  Having said that, I am a fan of the books and the movie didn't really do the book justice. I was a bit disapointed.

They better keep going.  I am going to be disappointed if they don't do Silver Chair.

I can't wait.  I agree, the LWW movie strayed from the book in noticable ways, but it was a very enjoyable movie.

I helped promote the first movie. They're filming the next two back to back. It has been confirmed by Walden Media’s Bob Beltz in a recent interview that Voyage of the Dawntreader has already been greenlit wtih plans to release 1 year after Prince Caspian.

With the same director, some of the same cast & crew, and a greatly increased budget, Prince Caspian should be amazing. I for one, am totally excited about it and expect that they retain the integrity Lewis intended, as they did with the first movie - C.S. Lewis' grandson signed off on that one, I'm anticipating they will consult with him again.

I too was a little disappointed with LWW, I feel they could've done some better battle scenes and some of the scenes seemed very cartoonish as opposed to what we had with LOTR.  I am definately looking forward to the next movies though!

I always got the impression that LOTR was a more "mature" series, than the Narnia one.

I really, really hope they make movies for all of these books.  They're all so awesome.  I know even with LOTR, they didn't keep to the books 100%, but it's still an awesome movie series.   Cool

I'm watching that one again, thoroughly enjoying it.

On a side note, anyone ever heard of C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy?  That's an excellent read, too.  It'd be cool to see that come out in a movie, too.

I have so many other thoughts on what books ought to be made into movies, too.  That's just me.  Very excited about the Narnia series, nonetheless.

Definately....the Narnia series was meant to be for a wider demographic of readers...ie., children.  I really enjoyed the movie...although I had hoped for a bit more.

As far as Lewis' sci-fi trilogy....I've been wanting to pick that up.  I've heard great things about it.
