Ok took the plunge and upgraded to Live 6.

Dave mentioned in a previous post about a scratch plugin. Where can i get one from?
+ Are there websites that specialize in Ableton plugins? Any ideas? How about free ones?

Also does anyone know how many computers the liscense is for? Can i put it on two machines? I want to run it on My G4 powerbook and my intel imac.

There's this thing for mac users. Don't think it's a plugin tho' and the results don't sound that great but may be worth checking out.http://www.iscratchwithoutrecords.com/

I'm sure you're allowed to run the same licence of Live on your Laptop and on your desktop. It'll tell you in the licence agrement won't it?

You can install Live on two of your own computers if you have registered your serial number on our registration page and you will not be using both computers at the same time.

If you want to run Live 6 on several machines simultaneously, you can purchase each additional license for EUR 274/USD 299 (download). If you send us your address, your registered Live 6 serial number, your credit card data (including expiration date and cvv code) and what you want to order, we can process your order right away. Thanks for these answers.
Good to know i can install live on both machines, was also a little worried that it was gonna be an intel only version! As i purchased the download version.

Thanks dave for the scratch plugin stuff, i notice you mentioned it on the other thread too!
Shame about the name! but if its good will give it a purchase.

So far i have been scratching with a cdj800 plugged in and had some good results! Will elt you know how i get on with the plugins
