In no particular order:
1. Dark City
2. Sin City
3. Spiderman 1 & 2
4. Star Wars IV-VI
5. Back to the Future 1 & 2
6. Mulholland Drive
7. Lost Highway
8. The Crow
9. The Matrix
10. Bruce Almighty
*** Aeon Flux -- I know this one didn't totally keep to the original MTV series, but, I must admit, it was a memorable movie, and the plot was pretty good.
I mostly like dark movies. I guess that means I'm evil

I dunno about my top ten but my no.1 'must-see' movie has to be 'American Beauty'. Masses of profound issues of modern life are dealt with in a non-gratuitous fashion. It's both deeply sobering and funny too, at times. Very thought provoking.
You mustn't miss 'V for Vendetta' either. V is very suave and some of the concepts/statements struck me as basically Biblical. Cracking, intelligent stuff!
Also worth watching, in my opinion:
Delicatessen
Jean de Florette & Manon des Sources
In the Name of the Father
Trainspotting
Banlieue 13 (District 13) - a funky soundtrack and the parkour is amazing
Chacun Cherche son Chat (When the Cat's Away) - so sweet!
Breaking the Waves (VERY emotionally wrenching, though)
An Inconvenient Truth
(Oh. That's ten after all!
)
Nice list
pleased someone doesn't just watch Hollywood crap
I dare not tell you all mine, some of them are ahem, 'challenging' to say the least

I did the 'Top Ten Books' and couldn't get past a Top 8 so I'll see how I do with this Top Ten!......
1 Toy Story
2 Wallace & Gromit - the first 3 original short films
3 Wallace & Gromit - The Curse of the WereRabbit (I like wallace & Gromit - you probably guessed!
)
4 All 6 Star Wars films
5 The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (especially the extended DVD versions!)
6 The Matrix Trilogy
7 The Incredibles
8 Terminator 2
9 Treasure Planet (mainly for the art & design that's gone into it!)
10 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (I'm still scared by the 'child catcher' though!!!)
Wow - I did actually think of 10...
