This may sound crazy, so here we go! Would you like to make a special mix with my tracks?! I have prepared download links and just let you know more infos:

Style between house (electro, prog, trancy) and techno (deep, minimal, tribal). Some breaks and chillout accepted too ;-)

Duration at least 60 min. Quality 192 mp3 recommended.

Maxximum creativity: you can change, tweak, do whatever feel like doing in the mix with my tracks/samples/dj-tools you'll receive for free.

Beside my tracks/dj-tools you may put in the mix Your personal style and productions (either loops/vocal/samples/tracks)

This will go worldwide as a special gift mix! Please take all the time you need because we'll continue this all 2007.

You may host the mix for public download. Any ideas on how to make this more fun and massive for each other are very welcomed :-)

Go now at http://www.mix2r.com/cristian_paduraru and get the music for the special mix game! Thank you, yours... Cristian Paduraru

Over 30 dj's got in the mix to prepare a special gift! Click on pics to get the mixes :0)

This may seem rude...but...I have to ask cuz it's always bugged me.
Why would a DJ need you to invite them? I mean if he/she wanted your music wouldn't he/she just implement it into their own mix anyways?
I never really understood how DJ's were allowed to give out mixsets containing FULL SONGS belonging to other artists and not get in any trouble for it. The way I see it it's illegal to do that. I dunno...hopefully someone can explain that.

Uh.   I don't get it.    What do we do?

Is this for djs or for producers? Kind of confused.

Cristian is inviting people to make a 60 min production of his original music. You may mash up his songs and add your own. He will provide a ton of material to anyone interested. He is giving permission to post the results via internet. The results are being listed at his Myspace page, links to mixes are being sent to his email list and select mixes may be published in a few other places.

yeah... this is actually a pretty big deal. In a lot of ways... it's more of an extended remix competition. If you want to hear a REALLY tough version for this... check out the latest btu live show and Jacksin's mix. He's got a TON of wild things going on in it.

Hmm it's pretty weird though, I mean, he's a good producer but the way things are promoted and all assume that this is very big and important. I have itchy feelings Wink when I receive yet another newsletter about Christian Paradu for which I didn't subscribe at all.

And I don't really see the benefit of mixing all these tracks..unless you can win something...or can you?
I still think it's weird. So to answer the topic title question; no Smiley

I'm sorry, I just don't like big promotion machines.

Oh btw, I think it's cool that the tracks are freely available though.

Without promotion nobody will buy your music. When you are running a label it's kinda important. Smiley

That's very true Smiley I understand that products needs to be promoted, but the way how it's done can sometimes be annoying. I guess that's the challenge of promotion. Even in promoting the word of Christ!
I think it's cool though that Christian P. is so open about his faith. I wonder what other dj's/producers think of that.
Ok...enough offtopic for now Wink

I was gonna say this earlier too but figured it was not nice. Seeing as Gerwin said it then I will say it now...I second that.
I don't know where this guy got his database or if he actually went name by name here to spam everyone, but I'm not happy about that. I've unsubscribed so we'll see if that works...but...man...this guy must not have a day job.  Roll Eyes
