I KNOW I am funnier than Dat Phan.

So I have officially stepped up to the vision that I had a long time ago.

I am hoping to find some people to come on board with me to help me figure out how this is supposed to be done. I know what I want to accomplish, so I took this step of faith and have placed this in God's hands.

I am looking for a few different people:
 - Someone who knows how to run a business, with a knowledge of the recording industry.
 - Someone who knows how to generate fund to make projects happen and not just be a dream in my head.
 - Someone who will actually help me accomplish what I envision and not want to take over the company with thier own ideas that will eventually run the company to the ground and tarnish it's image by not meeting contractual obligations.  Wink

Anyway, my goals are to establish relationships with radio syndication companies to be able to produce national programming, build a franchise of mix compilations and remix singles, and be heavily involved in the marketing of various Christian & Dance events nationwide.

I will need much prayer and support in this endeavor.

Please go to the website, www.jitabeat.com and check it out. I am building teh download section right now. I am also planning a new project that I hope to have released by June, therefore I need as many recording industry people as possible to register so you can read the industry section. There is an article in there that details this project. Please register asap so I can approve your account to read this section.

Thank you.

Very very cool.

Well, I am already involved in my own little way, and you know you have my support in whatever capacity I can manage.

I went partway through the starting my own thing (i haven't given up on it, but real life seems to put it on hold for awhile) and the best thing i can tell you is read The Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki. It's an amazing book for anyone starting any kind of venture (and probably people who aren't)

Chris-
DeepLife Records would like to make a bid on a mixset store for Jitabeat. This syndicated content would be deliverable in mp3 format, paid for via paypal.  You can easily send content complimentary via the backend of the store.  The store is the well-known 1-2-3 store.  New DeepLife Records staff member Jason Cramer may have an install customized soon for preview.

An example of what I am proposing -

An episode of "Blend" where all the content is licensed from labels like DeepLife Records, Deepsink Records, Demulcent Records, Next Dimension Music, etc.  The show is zipped containing the mp3 mix, the doc tracklist, photos, banners, cue sheets, drops, project files (ableton live template/project) and contact information.
This show is made available for purchase by the public to burn to cd / transfer to ipod or mp3 player.
Commercially, this mix could be sent complimentary to XM, Soma.fm, Last.fm, Amazon UnBoxed, etc.  After initial interest is generated, profit would be obtained by requiring a monthly subscription fee via paypal.  The content would be sent manually to subscribers once a month.

We would pay labels royalties on the licenses we obtain from them to include their content into your syndication.

Summary: basically a paid podcast via the 1-2-3 store.  Snocap is not an option due to the 13 minute cap on the length of audio.  Payplay has too much drm.  Raw mp3 or aac/ogg/flac is the way to go, and with Jason's php/mysql and rss experience, and your Joomla experience, along with DeepLife's growing roster of Artists, this seems to be beneficial to the consumer, to the label, to the radio dj, as well as to the industry.

I have the paperwork ready to roll out.  The implementation would be the next phase, and your approval course  Cool

Thanks for this opportunity.
