I talk to Scott every month and AJ's sister Gabby started going to my church with her fiance and I also go to a bible study at my pastor/brother in law's house where AJ's sister Gabby attends every week. So I get the scoop from his sister that way and just generally AJ is pastoring a church in LA and living life being married and raising his family. The funny thing is that I did not know she was AJ's sis until about a month ago. BTW, Scott is doing alot of construction work, doing block walls, wiring and building studio's. He is trying to get his C7 low voltage contractors license soon.
That's about as personal I am at liberty to get about scott. Pray for him.

AJ pastors hermoncommunitychurch.org in Los Angeles and i am his sound man on sunday mornings. I have been dj'ing at teh same spot fri and sat now for 4 1/2 years. I actually started at the club the week before the last cornerstone i was at in 2003. just joined back up here to see what the community is about these days and I like what i have seen so far.

Scott is a good buddy of mine. He hosted my bachelor party and was also instrumental in teaching me some of the mixing skills I use today.

My wife and I definitely don't share much of the same taste in music. I told her last night at dinner that it was really cool to actually see Scott Blackwell on TF. As I talked, she just kind of stared blankly at me until I mentioned Nitro Praise. Then she sort of realized who I was talking about.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.
