You got it, kneesh. Prayed and praying.

Just a couple weeks ago, I was in quite a funk myself. Doing "avoidance naps" and everything. Satan loves to turn our own minds against us. The annoying thing is how easy it can be sometimes to simply let him.

Hang in there! Find some encouraging verses to memorize and keep reciting to yourself. My wife does that and finds that it really helps her.

I know what you mean Kneesh. I'm mildly there too right now. Mostly though, I just need to keep working on the things I'm in charge of and not worrying about them or what I'm not in charge of. Praying

There are two things that have NEVER been promised by either God or the US Constitution:

1) Feeling Good
2) Happiness

God only promises that things will be EASIER with him and the Constitution only says you can pursue happiness.

It's funny how we often forget this and expect to feel good about ourselves and find happiness. I'm JOYFUL because of God, but joy does not always equal happiness.

You definately have my support and prayer...even today i have been going through what seems to be a spirtiual attack on my mind. It really sucks and it is so easy to give in to. For awhile I was feeding off my poor attitude and letting myself sink deeper. Until I had a reality check...who was I going to let win this battle, ultimately what is more important, where was my faith. Even though I am getting over it, it is still a struggle...but God never gives us more than we can handle and whatever you are going through is going to strengthen you and if you lean on God you will only grow closet to Him. I had a revelation today and it was that what I was going through would help me help others...after the fact. Your experience could be a tool to help someone else later down the road. I am sorry if I went way off and this doesnt even apply, maybe I am just venting some of my own issues too...but here is one more reminder Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord....

My soul begin this wintry month with thy God. The cold snows and the piercing winds all remind thee that He keeps His covenant with day and night, and tend to assure thee that He will also keep that glorious covenant which He has made with thee in the person of Christ Jesus. He who is true to His Word in the revolutions of the seasons of this poor sin-polluted world, will not prove unfaithful in His dealings with His own well-beloved Son.

Winter in the soul is by no means a comfortable season, and if it be upon thee just now it will be very painful to thee: but there is this comfort, namely, that the Lord makes it. He sends the sharp blasts of adversity to nip the buds of expectation: He scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes over the once verdant meadows of our joy: He casteth forth His ice like morsels freezing the streams of our delight. How we prize the fire just now! How pleasant is its cheerful glow! Let us in the same manner prize our Lord, who is the constant source of warmth and comfort in every time of trouble. Let us draw nigh to Him, and in Him find joy and peace in believing. Let us wrap ourselves in the warm garments of His promises, and go forth to labours which befit the season, for it were ill to be as the sluggard who will not plough by reason of the cold; for he shall beg in summer and have nothing.
