Okay so I'm finally set on getting new decks in here soon, and getting some kick-booty carts.

I've more or less decided on Ortofon Pro Concorde's but I'm trying to figure out the differences between them and the Pro S and Elektro carts.  Anyone using any of these have an opinion on them?  Even after reviewing the technical info on them I only see minor differences.

Or are these carts even worth $200?  Are the Sure White Label carts worth the extra $30 or so?

I've asked the same question and in the same predicament.

After reading, I thought the Concorde Nighclubs were the best.

Right now, I have a set of Shure Whitelabels.  They sound good but dont have the output like the high end Stanton's like the Trackmasters and in comparison they sound the same as the Whitelabels.

Im planning on getting some of the Ortofons within the next several weeks to just see for myself the difference.  I use Final Scratch and was curious bout Ortofon's newest, the Digitracks.

Im debating on whehter getting the Nightclubs or the Digitracks.

I know nightclubs rock, but they're twice as much as the Pro and Pro S carts.  Sad

I've looked at the White Labels but after some reading it looks like it's more scratch oriented?

whitelabels do hold the groove extremely well, however, due to their extremely delicate cantilever they are not ideal for scratching, and personally i regret buying them instead of pro s carts because after a few years, one cart L-R balance is off even after getting a new stylus, and my pair seems out of phase to each other unlike the m44g's im using now.

As for the concords, if my memory is correct, the elektros have a higher output than the pro s. i believe that's the main difference. BTW, you can get a nightclub elipical or spherical stylus and use that on a pro-s cart without problems. (i've known a few people that had done that before, and apparently that sounded great)
