speaking of, some co-worker pals were e-mailing some Turducken stuff back & forth.  gave me fond memories of being taunted by Liz and Tolldog.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it!

I've just been insanely busy...my job has been nuts!  I'm the manager of the Traffic Department here at Fox 47 in Lansing (tv station) - http://www.fox47news.com/

I don't fly around in a helicopter, and I have nothing to do with Roadway traffic!  We traffic commercials, programming and stuff.  We schedule the log for what is going to air, and keep Mcdonald's and Burger King from airing back to back, as well as a lot of other details I won't bore you with.

We had the world series in October as well as all these political ads for the elections November 7th, and I had to preview all the ads before they hit the air to be sure they were legal, and my department was downsized, and as the manager I get to make it work anyway along with all sorts of daily challenges of all sizes and colors.

I'm thankful for the job though, I make a lot more than I did before, enough to buy a house and feel like I can support a family, and the people I work with now are a whole lot more honest and ethical than the previous place, and I really love my job, it just takes a lot out of me, and I regularly put in more than 40 hours a week.

I also went to Fort Collins, Colorado for a few weeks in November.  We were there for my brother in law's wedding, and Thanksgiving as well.  Beautiful Mountains, never seen a real mountain before now.

Anyway life has just been crazy busy, and as soon as I catch up with Dancechapel stuff I hope to be able to spend some more time here...we shall see!

Miss all of you and glad the feeling is mutual  Smiley

Very similar, but a step up (for me anyway).

When I was a traffic director at 6 radio stations, I worked more, made less, and wasn't considered a real manager.

It differs from station to station and from market to market though, so places it is the exact same thing!
