32, and have been a part of Tastyfresh since before the forums were around, but not really active until maybe 8 years ago. By "been a part of", I mean I consider myself to be a regular visitor and active participant in helping to promote the site behind the scenes long before anybody knew who I was. Tastyfresh used to have some cool features that I really miss. (Time to look up OLD SKOOL TASTYFRESH on The Wayback Machine again...*reminisces*...ah  hug)

remember some of these people, chris?:

http://web.archive.org/web/20010714012422/www.tastyfresh.com/forums/default.asp?threadID=3161

or these people?  http://web.archive.org/web/20010711174032/www.tastyfresh.com/forums/default.asp?threadID=2946    (*some good & interesting discussion going on here...)
dude seriously, seeing some of those names that are no longer around here made me tear up just now. Jeremy Dawson, Scott Blackwell, D-range, formant (although he does drop in from time to time), eNKreist, andy payne, guy, redsavior, *hears whispering*....wait..what? REALLY? He's DAVE RICHARDS now? well that's just goofy!

Formant is Jamey Wright as Dave is aware Smiley Andy Payne disappeared without a trace a few years back. I went to his wedding as he married in Edinburgh around year 2000, I've tried calling him but all his numbers are dead.

The thing with the UK atm, esp in the south east is that its hard to find property... the average house price is £250,000!!! Thats a huge mortgage to take on at such a young age, so most people are either renting, again average about £1000 a month for a 3 bed house, and even thats a lot! Unless you're one of those teenage entreupeners! (sp?!) Or have a rich daddy!

I'd like to think that I'd be able to support a wife financially (inc. somewhere to live [without parents!!!]) before getting into 'those things'. If you know what i mean... now to find a real job....

Yeah, but UK's become infamous for brutal housing costs. Unbelievable costly.

I got married at 19. My wife is 4 years older than me. It's been a blast, honestly. Best decision we ever made, except for the Jesus one. We went through a lot of stuff while we were dating, so marriage has honestly been a breeze. (It's helpful that we were very good friends for a few years before we started dating; that makes a big diff.)

We live in Toronto, generally considered to be the most expensive housing in Canada (except perhaps Vancouver or Victoria).  But we live in the burbs, so it's not too bad. We're renting a one bedroom apartment, it's pretty spacious. We pay CDN $850 a month (£372, or USD$728) , which includes all utilities (water, power, heat etc.) and 1 parking spot. For where we live, that's great rent though.

Properties to purchase, as soon as you want a fully detached house, you're looking at CDN $250,000. (£109,000 or USD $214,000)

Our house is in Madison, AL (USA) and it was $89,000 USD, and our mortgage is only $650/Month. Although it's fairly small (1050 Sqft) it's got 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.  It's in the middle of a fairly nice subdivision with sidewalks and underground utilities. When we bought it, it wasn't too far away from where i worked (it's even closer now that I've lost my job Wink We like it a lot.

That's wild. Though, if we were to look almost anywhere outside of Toronto for housing, we'd find similar prices. My old house in New Zealand, before we moved to Canada was a massive 3 bedroom place, with 10 foot ceilings, biggest bathroom and kitchen I've ever seen. My parents bought it for NZD $55,000

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.
