I just wanted to share a major praise (that is also a prayer request too)...

As many of you know I had to have surgery 2 months ago for tumors on my ovaries.  Basically I had a partial hysterectomy and only have 1/3 of my right ovary left.  My doctor weren't to sure if it would work or not.  To all of our surprise, my ovary is working. Smiley

Before the tumor ovary issue I was sent to do a sleep study because the doctor thought I had sleep apnea.  I do have sleep apnea and now have a lovely cpap machine to help me sleep better.

But between the results of the sleep study and the surgery I came to a realization that my weight was really negatively affecting every part of my life.  So I decided to make some changes and start getting healthy.

A month ago Friday changed my eating habits, joined Curves (aka a women's gym), found out my body wasn't processing things correctly, etc....

Over the course of the last month I have noticed changes my pants getting baggy, having more energy, feeling better, etc...

Well this weekend I went shopping for some new clothes because there were some major sales and to my surprise I discovered that I now wear pants that are 2 sizes smaller!!!

So I just wanted to share the great news that I am getting healthier and ya'll are gonna be stuck with me for longer.  I am grateful for the wake up call from God and His help with all of this.

Keep me in prayer though cause I have a long way to go still.

That is really cool, just take the weight loss thing one day at a time.  It's so easy to go off your schd. and gain it all back.  Slow and steady is the best way to go.  Good to see that you are eating better and the exercise helps alot. Cool

I didn't mean to give too much info...I thought it was the best and yet not so in your face way to share.  But Dave ur married you shouldn't be weirded out. ha ha

Tom - yeah I'm taking it slow and steady.  Although I would like for everything to just fall off fast I'm not really wanting to carry around extra skin because I didn't take time to tone and do everything right.

Neesh - I know what machine you are talking about.  I like the crunch machine.  Do you go to curves?

Victor - I almost called u last weekend just to see how life was treating you.  So how is it?
