If anyone would like to pray for Rick... he's had a dull pain in his lower-right abdomen that's stuck with him from Thursday afternoon thru, well... still feeling it now.  I've got a doctor's appt. for tomorrow afternoon, but it just feels really, really weird.  Like maybe something is swelling up.  Kinda uncomfortable to move at times too.  Please pray for healing, peace, a quick diagnosis, etc.  [oh, and did I mention that Rick is scared to death of doctors, etc.?  The only time he's been to see one in the past 20 years was when he went to the ER--thinking that it was a heart attack.  Phun.]

Also, that family crap that some of you may recall is still going on.  Energizer bunny style, yo.

Thanks, from your friend in the third person,
-rick

Praying for you, bro.  When things get out of control during family-time, just call for a pizza delivery, things may look up thereafter.  Cool

well, the doc thinks i may have just pulled something.  sorry for any undue concern...  Embarrassed
going back in 2 weeks for a complete physical + some lab work, and to confirm that the current symptoms are gone by then.

and, andy... although i didn't get pizza delivered tonight, my health-food dinner is just about done cooking [and by "health food" i mean frozen pizza!]

glad you are alright, but you really should make it a habit to everyonce in a while go in and have teh doctor check things out. it's like preventative maintenance for your car.

What he said ^.

Did The Dr do a blood test for infection? Did he rule out appendectomy? Symptoms fit but then they aslo fit many other things. watch for fever. If you get a fever get back to Dr quick. Will pray again for the faimly stuff. Otherwise, good to hear fomr you and glad that you are still breathing!!

no, and no.  trying to watch for fever, but can only do that effectively at home [our heating/AC at work has been messed up since we moved a month-and-a-half ago... today it felt around 80 degrees F around my cube].  will go back to the doc if i'm able to detect something's messed up tho'.  shanks!

and, yes, i'm going back to the doc for a full physical in 2 weeks.  i don't need anymore helpful advice there.
