My baby was born with cleft lip and pallet. My wife was sure that state insurance was going to cover the costs but now they are giving her a hard time. They say I make too much money. According to my tax return that is not true. I will have to go talk to them. If they dont help I can expcet to pay $40,000 in medical expenses. Im not hurting for money but that is much more than I have. Im trying to start a business with what money I do have. If I can get my new business up and going $40k wont be a big deal but If i have to spend what money I do have to invest Im screwed.

bro, i got you covered on prayers.
but i want to say this to everyone. do no worry about whether or not you think you can afford it. if God asks you to give, just do it and He will make sure that you make it through. He will bless what your give and give it back to you.

total cost is about $40,000. I have about $15,000 but right now Im making good money because I have money to invest. I will use the money if i need to, I just hope GOD has another plan.

it's your baby. SPEND THE MONEY.  are you going to tell him/her "yeah honey, we could have gotten your problem fixed easily when you were a baby,but dad didn't want to spend the money because he had a business to run,so now you're disfigured for the rest of your life"/

i'll say this in as loving of a way as i know how:   God gave us a brain and common sense to figure things out. We don't need three trumpet blasts and 2 angel appearances to make all of life's decisions. 
  sometimes life is HARD (as i know you know) and we have to make HARD diecisions.  nowhere in the bible does it guarantee we'll have it easy. all over the bible it says we have Someone who will never leave us or forsake us in the midst of our toubles  Cool
