Will be praying. I had that done years ago and I won't lie, it's not fun. For what it's worth, make sure they pack your holes/sockets with gauze. They didn't do that for me and I was in agony for like 2 days. I went back and they said "Why did you take out the gauze?" and I replied "Um...you must've never put the gauze in the first place because I didn't take anything out. Instant relief with the gauze. I'm pro-gauze. Can't get enough gauze.

They forgot the gauzes? That's horrible!!!! When I had my wisdom teeth out it took 2 days till I felt I could function again, three days till I was actually allowed by the doctor's say to fuction.
BTW, are you having them pulled or sugerically removed? Mine was sugery, somehow I think that kind heals quicker

Good thing you're going to be knocked out! It's probably something you're not going to want to remember anyway!
I don't remember this but, my mom told me this story (she dropped me off and picked me up). I was in a recovery room and when they came to get me, I wasn't there! The nurses freaked out and ran outside thinking I was wandering the streets. I was actually curled up down the hallway, around the corner, fast asleep. I apparently walked down the hall but I don't remember any of it!

You survived! Yeah, I remember the jaw thing. That's why you don't want to remember any of it. They do some pretty brutal things when they have to get those suckers out!
Good to hear you're healing up!

I'd just like to say that I actually woke up during mine. I saw the blood and some bone fragments flowing through a tube. I decided right then to go back to sleep

Oh. My. Goodness. I consider myself pretty cool under pressure but if I woke up during that...oh man...I would FREEEEAK out.
I've had arthoscopic surgery on my knee and two colonoscopy's and each time, the doc asked me if I wanted to be awake (twilight sleep?) so I could watch all of this on their video screens! Uh..no thanks. I almost said yes to the knee surgery but I'm not good with blood. Other people's blood, not too bad. My blood, very bad!
The colonoscopy; I don't even want to remember that I actually had it, let alone watch it being performed.

the gauze may have come out during eating....
glad you're done, now i can tell you about them having to break 2 of my widsom teeth in half to extract them..and having to file down my jawbone, which was sticking out of the inside of one side of my gums.
..and being awake for the whole thing. i really REALLY hate the dentist.
