Hey dmitri,

This set was done for "This Week at Beatport" which means the all the sets are tracks from the previous week's releases. You are correct, I typically spin deep house yet the week I was slated for the mix, there wasn't alot of solid deep house so I chose to do a proggy set. Glad you enjoyed it.

Jeremey - thank you very much for the feedback.

I spun prog a few years ago yet caught the deep house bug. Yet I have noticed that I typically select deep house that is less jazzy and more of the up tempo style with darker and/or proggy elements. I love that rub right in the middle. Stuff that would be warm-up for a prog set or later for the deep house DJ. Most of the jazzy, vocally stuff is annoying to me.

Thanks guys for the feedback.
