i just wanted to take a second to say that i think that all of you guys rock. ive been posting on message forums since the early 90's and never have i joined one that i felt so welcomed into. can the spirit of the Lord live on a website???  smiley25 i think so...cuz He's here for sure. Redsaviour has successfully created a meeting place, a common ground if you will...to unite all Christians who enjoy electronic music in a way that has really never happened before. there's still lots and lots of work to be done but i think we are up for the task!

God Bless all of YOUZ  hug

Hey man, You are absolutely right about Tastyfresh! One thing I find remarkable (I am assuming it's because you are new to the "Christian Scene") is how a lot of your posts seem to imply that we are all brand new and starting out...that there's a whole new world left to explore in reaching the lost. Fact is, we've been already at it for well over a decade! I'm not saying this to discourage you. I admire your zeal. It's quite refreshing. I just think you need to do some research before you jump to any assumtions about us (TF) and the existing "Christian Scene".

Here's a bit of TF History for ya. Dave (Redsavior) is the owner, but he is not the guy who started this site. That credit needs to go to Jamey Wright. Jamey started TF in 1996, that's why at the bottom of this website you will see "© 1996-2006 Tastyfresh.com". He retired a few years back to focus on being a family man, but this was his vision. I am sure Dave's vision is at work here as well, but Jamey is the one who laid the foundation.

Christian Dance music and DJ's are nothing new either. The first US released Christian Dance CD was back in 1992 (Scott Blackwell's "Walk On The Wildside" and "MYX'd Trip To A Gospel House")...that is a huge 14 years ago! Carey Jarvis (www.dancechapel.com) has been a major news resource for this scene for as long as I can remember.

Here's my theory about what's happening now. God has been raising up Christian DJ's, etc all around the world in thier own little small circles for all this time. Now He is bringing us together for something. It could just be awareness of each other. It could be for something a lot greater. We need to keep on keeping on as if it's been around for years and not act like this is all brand new. If we forget or ignore or remain ignorant of our history, we will not benefit from the past's gains and setbacks. Now is the time to look back and study so we can plan for the future.

Cool, thanks for the history lesson. I'm glad to hear you guys have been around for a long time... My only concern is that I've been attending church since I was born (1981) and I've been into EDM since the Mortal Kombat 1 soundtrack was released (-: ...back in oh 1991? I've always been a fan of EDM and every church I've ever attended no matter where U.S. / Canada no one, and I do mean NO ONE in any  of those churches had every even heard of EDM...let alone Christian EDM...so... something is wrong. I'm currently involved with about 4 different AOG churches and one Non-Demom, in the Metro Detroit area. They range in size from 500 - 3500. When I presented the whole EDM thing to them recently... it was the first they had heard of it. And this being Detroit, the birthplace of techno...you'd think that we'd be the most up on those things. Again, I'm glad to hear the die hards have been doing this since the early 90s but valiant as their effort may be...not a whole lot of progress has been made. I agree with you that God is now bringing us together for something big! And I believe that is that we need to go public. We need to be seen. Not to be underground anymore. And I'm pleased to see that its starting to happen here.  Cool
