I got bored, and here are pictures of my actual desktops.   everything's not hooked up in the picture, but they're going now. (maybe i should take more pictures) I have the cable modem hooked up to a linksys 4 port router in the attic; which goes to 2 network drops in the boy's rooms, a belkin 4 port wireless router(which then hooks up to my xbox in the living room) and a 24 port switch in my garage. The switch hooks up to my main desktop, both NAS's and the load balancer, which hooks up to a 4 port workgroup hub (going to replace that with a switch soon) that goes to the 2 webservers. i'm looking to get 4 or so power edges when we rebuild the core network at work, and turn them into a mysql cluster. fun stuff  |
