OK, my vision for the site is open and functioning, kinda. Part of my vision was the idea that I would provide a platform for the users to advertise thier events, cd releases, etc.

I need those who are interested in helping to keep the content of the site active, particularly the events section. Anybody interested?

I'm down for whatever you need man. I attend AOG myself and I'm currently trying to get a Saturady night Dance Worship Service going locally here in Detroit. Send me an email so we can discuss this further...plz.. djrodimus@djrodimus.com

Hey, Since yer new here, I'll throw ya a bone. AOG = Assembly Of Groove (www.assemblyofgroove.com). It's my website for networking, marketing and promotions of Christian dance and hip hop music.

But, yeah I attend an AOG church myself Tongue

I am thinking of the approach of lettings any registered artist post their events. And then allowing users to search for any events within their area.

that's the idea, yet the dj's / artists who are registered are not contributing.

I'm not sure if this is because there seems to be a disconnect from "DJ Profile" "Registered User" and "Events".

I added myself to the list of DJs but that didn't actually "register" me. So I just registered. Which I have to do before I add an event.  It feels kind of disconnected.

Hope that provides of insights...

Just to follow-up:

- I've now submitted and been added to the DJ section
- I've registered as a user on the site

I am still unable to post events. I receive the following message.

"You are not authorized to view this resource."

the DJ Directory is a feature I have added. It is not a registration. Once you register, I have to activate the accouunt for posting. It is my safety net that thesite remains free form garbage.
