I am sorry for your loss though. That would be a HUGE blow to most of us here.

No worries man, it's just money. God has started to really bless me / my business and if I have to loose a couple grand in order to be part of the first Christian EDM fest I do it gladly...I just want to see better organization the future...

YEAH! That's what I'm talking about. I don't care if I have to travel 4 or 5 hours to a central meeting place or if you all want to come up here doesnt matter. If we do it right, plan it out, get conformation that a certain number of people from a certain number of churches are coming, and promote it we can start our own event(s). I'm ready. I'm willing to commit my money, time, & equipment. I think the first step is to figure out the best location (probably inside). Somewhere where the most of us from TF are able to travel to...and for the others that can't make it... WEBCAST. Once we come up with a location we need to create some promo material that we can give out to churches. We need confirmed attendees as well as people that just come in off the streets. I have access to portable stages, lighting equip, as well as audio / video gear. If we are going to do it we have to do it right. Its not going to happen overnight but we NEED TO START NOW. So...who's in? angel

The county commissioner meeting was not just about clover but because of the festival it seemed to create a stir in the community. It was whether or not t.c. was going to host festivals at all and what kind of restrictions would be placed on them if they were allowed to continue. There was quite a bit of bad talk from many of the local residents about the noise issue. Many people living nearby (up to 9 blocks away) were conplaining about the boom boom noise that they could hear through their house and feel in their chest. Personally I can understand their complaints but that doesnt mean that we should just do away with the festival in t.c. I brought about 6 kids from my youth group and a few of them when up to advocate for the clover festival during open mic. I think that overall it went well. The vibes that I got off the commissioners were good, they seemed hip to the whole thing. Plus all of us saying that we had a good time and wanted it to come back helped too. Some of the guys came up to me afterwards and said that I was heard and that would help clover.
