I'm currently working on a 5th mix that will be played IN CHURCH...maybe even during a Sunday morning DANCE WORSHIP service...more to come on this later but for now check out my current releases. To view our FULL PRESS RELEASE click here http://www.tranceformedstudios.com/tspressrelease.pdf.

Hey,
Is there any way we can get a full unseparated mix?   I downloaded the zip file from your site but it has all the separate tracks.   I was hoping for a full mix that I can just listen to straight through.

Thanks.

sure I can upload the full version. the reason the tracks are split is for easy burning. if you have nero or sonic you can burn them to disc with 0 sec space between the songs. then they all play together like one stream but you can still change between the tracks. also if you use winamp or media player place them in the playlist and it will play through seemlessly with no pauses or skips. ill reply back with a link to the full version in a few min.

ok just FOR YOU I updated the site. You'll have to probably PRESS REFRESH a couple of times on the browser since its Flash. You might even have to clear the cache but probably not. Anyway if you goto the Music section again you'll see a new link under the first one that says Continuous Mix...thats whatcha want. And actually its 256kbs quality too...I used it for my Digitially Imported demo upload. ENJOY!

heh heh...   ok, those are good ideas.

sorry, I am a bit lazy today.    I have a folder on my itunes for only dj mixes and I was going to throw yours in there but the separate tracks mingled with everything.

so the full link is still preferred.    thanks man!

DJ Rodimus - I downloaded your mixsets and, correct me if I am wrong, (I dl'ed about 9 mixsets that evening), but the next day when I listened to it there was a track in there where some guys vocal is like "...money buys beauty...in los angeles ... and money buys drugs ... and we pay ...gladly".   I was like whaaa ..? I hope I am wrong, but just wanted to clarify with you on how you would NEVER put a track like that in a Christian mix, right?

listen to the whole song please...the end of the song...after those words... he's not saying that its a good thing. hes stating what is going on in L.A. / Detroit / Miami etc... its being portrayed as bad.

last verse from track #1

"...and then we become depressed...cuz nothing is quite as beautiful as before anymore...and then one day we WAKE UP and we take a drive and we see the sunset with new eyes..."

this track hits home to me very closely due to the fact that I myself was once consumed by the glamorous life...dating models...poping pills...etc  One day I woke up and I was burned out and I cried out to God asking him for help...Oliver Moldan (even though he's not a Christian) realizes through these lyrics that if you continue with this life style you will "burn out"..."become depressed"... definitely not a good thing. The point of this track is to steer people away from this lifestyle not promote it. (btw the guy talking is Kevin Spacey from the move L.A. Confidential...) hope this helps clarify things a bit.

Nice mixes - all of them.
One question: What is the name of the track that is heard when the site finishes loading? That sounds good too.

Thnaks!

The track in the site is actually "Cold Play - Lets Talk (Junkie XL mix)" I know they aren't really a Christian band but I really liked it for background music and the words aren't bad...

T...I still haven't heard back from ya yet. Please reply back that you understand. It is very important to me that my music isn't misinterpreted. I'm glad that you are asking questions about the lyrics...that means that you actually took time to listen to the track. I know it might hard to make out all of the words but anytime you have a question about the lyrics in any song that I spin please let me know. I know all the words to all my songs by heart. I'll gladly post them for you and explain them if needed!  Grin

Good sir, the reason that I did not reply is that your reasoning behind justifying the use of the track for your perceived reasons do not convince me that it is acceptable to play this track simply because drugs are, in fact, bad.

two words : lukewarm and spew

I respect what you are trying to do but assimilation into a society that accepts everything but Christianity must be shined upon by a bright light not a quaint little l.e.d.

Consider this, if I take this view, how many others?

Also, I can purchase about two dozen Gospel house tracks on Soulfuric records right now -  a secular label - that have more Gospel messages than anything I have heard come out of the Christian scene in the past year.

It is time for Christians to wake up and realize who we are and what we are to do. This cannot be done with a single song and I am not up in arms about that, just the simple fact that there is a lifestyle to be had that is completely removed from "mainstream media" and Kevin Spacey's waxing eloquent on things about life that are  bad and how maybe we shouldn't take part in them.  The track just put me off, bro, no big deal, prob won't matter to most people. You don't need to walk on eggshells, play what you play, just realize how crucial your input to the world as a Christian firstly and as a Christian dj secondly is.  No compromise, no looking back to the old ways of sin.
Keep your hand on the plow Rodimus, and follow up with a set that screams The Cross and Christ's Victory over death.

I prob should have kept quiet but you asked for my reply.  I have been there too, lost many years of my life to sins such as you describe. By God's grace I have been redeemed, just like many, many Christians on this board.

No looking back. Be a bold Christian dj. Be a little light in a world of darkness.

I'm glad you posted your opinion (exactly what I asked for) Cool but mine will not change. Christians, in general, tend to sit on the "high horse" and look down at the rest of the world. I've seen too many souls LOST for the Lord due to these types of Christians...Right now I'm dealing with such a Church that will remain nameless. This church (Assemblies of God) is litterly driving away good Christians due to technicalities...and they will have to answer for it someday. Just as will you and I for our mistakes.

If you're afraid to use a song that has the word "drug" or "money" in it...regardless of what the person is saying about drugs or money how does that make sense.  smiley23 The reason that no one on the planet, other then about 45% Christians listen to Christian music in general is due to the fact that its ALL PRAISE MUSIC. And most of it sounds terrible. Its a direct and immediate turn off to anyone other then Christians. We are to quick to say "if its not praise...WOA don't call it Christian." I beg to differ. Now please don't get me wrong we need praise music. It's Biblical and necessary to bring glory to the Lord. But if we are too scared to portray songs that are simply talking about the world (showing how the worlds ways lead to destruction) simply due to the fact that they aren't praise songs...I have to wonder... how is that RESPONSIBLE...T? smiley25

On a daily basis, we as Christians deal with many different issues. Sometimes, it may be comforting to pop in a Christian cd and hear someone you know to be a believer singing about the various issues that you are confronted with in daily life. This type of entertainment is also a form of spiritual support. Simply hearing praise songs doesn’t always help. AGAIN I AM DEFINITLY PRO-PRAISE! I'm currently working on my newest mix "Global Dance Worship Sessions" something that could and will be played in Church...but there is also a place for a more realistic type of music for Christians. It is possible, you know, to speak/sing a sentence of wisdom without using the Lord's name in it? Isn't it? Like don't kill, rape, steal, lie, etc...Because it will ruin your life and those around you...? Aren't those in fact Christian messages? I hope so cuz I've heard them in Church for the past 25 years. Many non-believers / new Christians aren't yet ready to go from Biggie Smalls to DC Talk overnight. So we must as RESPONSIBLE Christians create a bridge, spanning the gap, and accepting / ushering these new souls into a spirit of worship. Even life-long Christians, life myself, don't want to always hear worship music and its not because we don't love to worship the Lord but its because it very valuable and necessary to hear words of WISDOM as well as words of PRAISE. Personally, I place Wisdom above all else because if you are truly living wisely...isn't that in fact PRAISE?  Cool

Dude i feel you on that... you dont need in your face lyrics about God... but the suggested message needs to be in a way that it can be used for his glory... Ex.. i use the Geogra Acosta track "Center" but i mix out of it befor the 3rd verse where he indicates hes talking to a girl.
Your track 1 (after intro) on peaceful progression says "we need to be perfect consumers because we appreciate beauty, and money buys beauty.
beauty that can only be had for money.
and of course to enhance this beauty we need drugs...thats costs more money...which we spend galdly."
TELL ME HOW THAT CAN BE USED FOR THE GLORY OF GOD?
If i heard a DJ say that he was a Christian DJ and then played that song... i would be like "what are you doing?" I understand your point... but your fogetting something. As Christians we are not of this world... how will we stand apart if were blending with it? Im not saying only pick songs that say praise God... but you should sensor your tracks. again, no offence bro!
OVERALL GREAT WORK, AND GROOVIN TRACKS!
