The муѕрасе.com domain name is being auctioned on eBay. It’s a Cyrillic IDN domain name that looks exactly the same as myspace.com.

муѕрасе.com

the url for that link comes up as something like xn--80aktqgj0k.com, but copy and paste муѕрасе.com into your webbrowser and it throws you to the same place.

it's cryllic, so if you don't have the alt code handy, you probably wouldn't do it too easily, even if you wanted to. and accually the rest of the domain is in cryllic too, if it wasn't, many anti-phishing filters would catch mixed character sets and throw a red flag.

The auction said it was just for collectors anyways.

The idea is to prove that allowing domain names to exist using alternate names that way it's a potential for phishers to use alternate characters to register their look-alike domains.
