DUNAM!S - "REVELATIONS"
review by Andy T

DUNAM!S releases the full length album entitled "Revelations" on DeepLife Records.
This drum n' bass epic sets the score to end-times events as described in the Book of Revelations. Fueled by reese-style basslines and amen rinse-outs, this 6-track l.p. comes correct with a sound that paints a picture of the prophetic visions given by Jesus Christ to his disciple John, while he was a very old man, exiled to the isle of Patmos.
A detailed structure and dynamic layouts solidify DUNAM!S' first outing on the DeepLife label. DUNAM!S' production skills take you to a place where imagination is an integral part of the experience. His careful selection of violin, rumbling basslines, and vivid, exotic atmospherics paint a beautiful picture of end-times events. Written from a Christian perspective, this instrumental album inspires the further study of the subject matter, which is quite remarkable being sans-vocals. The highlight of the album is the brutal Armageddon with the crunching guitars that take you back to the days of Focal Point (Tooth N' Nail) era Christian hardcore. DUNAM!S stands out from the current batch of dnb producers in that his message is positive and his production is bold. Keep up the great work, DUNAM!S, we are looking forward to hearing your new trance-influenced work!
