Just wandering how many of you guys are maried and how many are single.  I just know that it's got to be easer to play out or have a redency if your single?  How many of you guys have the full support from your wifes with your djing if your marieds?

All of 3 of us in Sheltershed are married.  Wouldnt be possible to do what we do without the full support of our wives.  I know I speak for the other guys as well.  However, family issues do 'cramp' the schedule quite a bit.  Craig's time is hard to get since he has a wife and 2 boys, and a busy job.  Rob pastors a church which makes him hard to get at.  I think I have it the easiest, my wife goes with me to all the shows and she pretty much lets me run rampant in the studio, but she definitely lets me know when Im not giving her enough time.  She is usually right too.

Support from the family is 100% essential heh.

I'm married, but that's not really what has kept me out of clubs for now, It's the havnig a little one around the house, and another one on the way.

Married, not a DJ but my time to produce is after my wife goes to bed, which is usually kind of early so it never really gets in the way. She's very supportive of pretty much whatever I do.

I'll agree with who mentioned this earlier, my wife doesn't cramp my style but my kid definitely does! Not that I mind though! My daughter just turned 3 and has a really good sense of rhythm and I have a feeling it won't be too long until she tries to take over my computer! Or at least, that's the excuse I'm giving my wife so I can get a G5!  Wink
