The trailer is pre-rendered... so it most likely won't look quite that impressive.

I dunno... I've been seeing some REALLY cool stuff. I mean... FEAR and HL2 on GOOD machines is REALLY cool. We're talking rendered on the fly rather than pre.

That game though won't be. The game doesn't require a  highres FPS engine. It needs one made for RTS games. The requirements for those 2 are totally different and usually... the FPS engine will do better for cut scenes like that.

I knew it was pre-rendered, its just i didn't know they could get CG looking that real. Cars was the latest CG film i saw, and tbh - wasn't all that impressed with the CG. That trailer is another level.

Cars looked awesome. It was some of pixar's best work.  It may not have looked realistic, but it's a cartoon, it wasn't meant to look realistic. It's like saying dogs aren't cool, because they don't meow.

it would have been nice to see some gameplay footage in that trailer for a game.
