This is perfect. Something I've been looking for a long time. I'd had to resort to using EQ's for acoustic recording because I couldn't find anything like this out there. Thanks so much!

ooo I think I'll get some use out of this! Great post.
I think I'll reverse engineer it though...
I've learned that cutting frequencies instead of boosting them makes for a better mixed song. But then again if you've got a volume control on that track you may consider boosting and then cutting the volume to achieve the same effect.
I like the part about the guitars as they are always a bit tricky when adding them to electronica music.

Yeah subtractive methods really can be great, although they don't work everything. One thing I noticed about this post though is generally 5k is a pretty useless frequency I think. Be very careful of boosting anything in this range you are thinking of playing at club volumes, you could kill someones ears.
