Don't know about the inclusion of Tiesto's Pirates remix though. That one is well dodgy...

Thanks Jeremy! Yeah that's true isn't it? A lot of these artists have shown up on my top 20 over the years, it was cool to see so many of them at clover.
Omega Supreme and Imhotep - I expected that response from a few people, just because it's popular to hate Tiesto. That doesn't discredit your opinion in any way, anymore than it would if you liked someone that a lot of people liked!
I know he has released some mediochre stuff over the years, but he's had some great tracks here and there too, and I really think this is one of them, I personally rock to it, and quite a few listeners are too. I know a couple guys bought it off I-tunes right after they heard it on the show.
There are Pirates remixes by others too, even some Tribal ones!
At least Imhotep likes the 24 remix, and I agree it pumps dish!

i agree with everyone about the 24 tune, but what puts me off about that tiesto remix is that i heard he didn't even make it, that he's just got studio monkeys doing most of his remixes now for him.

Well, you know what they say: Given an infinite number of studio monkeys....

Juice - If you know anything about me, you know I don't care about how "dated" a track is. I'm not a superstar DJ looking to prove anything to anyone, I'm just a radio dude playing tunes I like on Friday nights. It may have been out for a few months already (like this chart), but if it's new to me and my listeners then it's like it just released yesterday! I'm glad you like the Pirates Remix, and I hope you liked the 24 remix while it was still new to you
Brian & GLM - Whoever made that track, even if they were monkeys, I love it!
In fact, especially if they were monkeys
Have you guys heard some of the other pirates remixes? I like the Ship Ahoy Tribal Remix by Chris Joss quite a bit too.
Is he a fairly famous Tribal Guy?

Carey, I really wasn't busting on Tiesto. Just doing a play on that "if an infinite number of monkeys had an infinite number of typewriters..." thing. My mind just makes wierd associations like that.

It's cool bro!
Just so you, Juice, Omega and the gang know...
Nothing that has been said on this thread upsets me, I appreciate the honest feedback
Just tossing a few reactions back, but none of them were heated!
I enjoyed the monkeys comment, I thought it was funny
"If he says he'll let the monkeys out, he'll let the monkeys out..."

I get too conversational sometimes. I don't want to scare people off from telling me what they really think, but I don't want to not react to what they say either, I guess I am still learning to find a happy medium!
