I've been a big Plumb fan since their first album.
I think the only reason they haven't hit it really big is the music scene has a good handful in the powerful edgy female vocals. But I think her attention to the needs of the soul is starting to cut thru the normal music biz. Her songs "Damaged", and "Cut", "Send Angels" are all extremely emphatic. If you listen you'd think she was a cutter herself. But she isn't, she didn't quite understand it when first encountering it. But she has such an emphatic gift she was able to bring it to such a touch point.
In truth, I happened to listen to "Cut" shortly after listening to Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" and I realized they were in many ways similar in heart.
