Cindy, I'm glad that you could get the surgery relatively quickly, although I'm sure the next 6 days will seem more like a month.

Well tomorrow is the day.

The pain the last 2 days has been way worse.  Just makes me more willing to get this done and over with.

Thank u for the prayers and concern.  It amazes me how people I barely know can really feel like family.

Hi Cindy,
I don't know you, but I am feeling for you.  I pray in Jesus name, that the hand of God would be upon the doctors and you during your surgery Wednesday and that all of the liquid tumor and any other remnants would be removed.  I pray that you would not have to loose your ovaries and that God would be glorified in doing a miracle!

I am very happy that the doors opened so quickly for you.  That was one of the things that was so encouraging for me was when all those doors opened up for me so quickly.

Cant know what your going thur, I know what it's like dealing with my wife.  So Cindy may God cover you with the holy spirt and may He comfort you thru this trial.  May all this just be a fleeting momunt in you life.  Praying for strength and wisdom thru all this.  Hang in thier. hug

These are the details as I know right now. I will learn more tomorrow (Monday) because I have a post-op doctor appointment.

There were 2 tumors, one on each ovary. One was so large that they had to take 2 pictures of it to get it all. (I知 going to try and digitize the pictures so you all can see.) They had to remove my left ovary along with the tumor. (I have about a 2 inch incision.) The doctor was able to leave my right ovary. Although there is no guarantee that it will work or function right, but at least I have a chance of being able to have children some day.

I do not know the weight of the tumors, but I do know that my stomach is smaller now. It痴 not like I dropped 100 pounds or something, it is just something I can notice.

I do not know if the tumors were cancerous, although it is highly unlikely that they are. But I am sure the doctor will let me know tomorrow.

My recovery is going well. Each day I start to feel a little better. I知 taking the pain meds as needed and I am needing them less and less. I am still being very cautious as to what I do and I still don稚 have a ton of energy. But I am blessed to be doing this well this soon. More than anything I am grateful to my friends for taking care of me and to my doctor for giving me a fighting chance to have kids some day. I knew God had my back - I知 grateful for the others that do too.
