I picked up some classic electro jams recently:

Ectomorph - Abstraction
Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force - Looking for the Perfect Beat

And the one that I'm happiest about, I won Aleem's "Release Yourself" on ebay last week but I'm waiting to hear from the seller so I don't know if it's in the bag yet (record bag, that is)

Hey Brandon, congratulations ! 'Release yourself' is always in my record box, what a classic ! very rare, hope the ebay deal goes through OK. I just love all that Leory Burgess stuff, and very positive vocals.
The last records I bought were a mixture of old + new (just the way I like it). I can't actually remember all the records I bought last, but the ones that stand out are -

'walking into sunshine' - mainline (Larry Levan mix) -very hard to find, funky funky stuff
'mixing ep' - Ame - nice modern deep house/tech crossover with Chicago reference
'sunshower' - Nami Shiamda - 2 copies, - 1 UK version , 1 JPN version
'Mary Mary' - sacred rhythm (bootleg) - Joe Clausell mix -absoultely crazy mix !!
'runnin' - Greene feat. Colonel Abrams - Old skool 80's WBMX rarity.
'Voyage' - DJ Nori, - Fabulous new skool deep techy stuff with soul.
'can you' - Filsonic - Just love this one, simple, rich, driving + deep.

I can't wait to update my collection soon, and get chcking out good Christian modern stuff.

HAHAHAHA that Aleem record was so worth the wait.

I'm also happy that I scored (arguably) the first commercially available 12" single ever - Ten Percent by Double Exposure.  With re-edits by none other than Walter Gibbons.  Oh snap is it ever good.  Best $2 bargain section purchase ever.

If we're talkin EDM vinyl,  the last piece I bought was "To The Club(Highpass Mix)" by Spankoxx and "Rocket Bass" by Jark Prongo.  Got 'em on the same day......About 2 years ago...

If we're just talkin records,  a few weeks ago,  I snagged a copy of "The Mighty Quinn" by Manfred Mann.

Hey Brandon, sounds like we're on the same wavelength !! Congrats on the Aleem record ! Have you watched 'Maestro' yet by the way ?? It's the DVD of the history of dance music. Walter Gibbons is an absolute legend, he was also a born again Christian.
One record above all others I'm trying to buy at the moment is 'gotta little love' by Angela. I heard David Mancuso play it this year. It's incredible. If anyone finds a copy of this, please let me know !
