YFC canada asked me to do an ambient worship mix for one of there worship sessions at thier national ministry conference this year and i thought that i would post it up on here for you guys to check out if u want to. Its great for when ur reading or trying to go to sleep. heres the link for you http://www.mixupload.com/index.php?act=mlite&CODE=playsong&s_id=9087 you can stream or podcast the mix from here. The mix was recorded using turntables and a laptop and it wasnt edited for mistakes using any software so i would love some feedback if possible because i am relitively new to djing (been djing for about 8 mounths now).

Tracklisting is as folows:

moby- fireworks
bonobo - noctuary
xelysion - nullison
bonobo - change down
chicane - saltwater (thrillseekers ambient mix)
bonobo - light pattern
bloc party - here we are (unripelemon remix)
bonobo - nothing owed
andy hunter - translucent
bonobo - flutter
chicane - offshore (ambient mix)
bonobo - pick up
andy hunter - angelic
bonobo - d song
moby - 18

Thanks

Chris

Whoohoo...

I love seeing more and more of the "other side" of electronica here on TF.  I just started listening but thanks for posting this.  I will listen while I work.

BTW -  hit me up on PM or email me if you want some tracks for your next mixset.  I make chillout and ambient and would love to bless you with some tracks.

God bless.  Thanks for filling my afternoon with some worshipambient.

I'll leave the critique of the DJing to the DJs, but....

25 minutes in and really enjoying it. I need to have more lower BPM times.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.

Thats some great stuff!!   I love down-tempo stuff, I going to
have a website with a new DJ mix every month, want to get
some ambient/d-tempo stuff going.  I have done 24-7/prayer events
and prayer rooms for Missions conferences, its a great genre for worship
& prayer

I played that Chicane - Saltwater ambient track at church once
its great.  Vocalist is singing in some weird Gaelic or something, I thought she said
"follow the dwarf for the day"   laugh
