Sounds good. Maybe we can trade snail-mail addies at some point and burn CDs for each other.

I'd love to have something to show folks about DJ-led worship. The youth pastor at our church is somewhat familiar with it. (AH spoke at some youth leaders conference he was at.) But most people don't have a clue.

When this weekend's event was first announced, I started to mention it to my accountability partner. I got as far as the term "DJ-led worship" and he started laughing out loud. Literally. I just changed the topic quickly and haven't mentioned it to him since.

He probably wouldn't ever take it seriously (he's very into tradition and ritual, which occasionally strains our accountability relationship), but I know of some other folks that might at least sit through a DVD about it and be willing to talk about it some.

My pixs are bad for the most part. The dark conditions played havoc with the auto-focus and auto-exposure. I got a couple decent ones from Saturday night and also took a handful at the pre-party on Friday. I shot 8 30-second-ish videos. All of them but one were in pretty good focus. You can see a whole lot due to the low lighting, but they do give a pretty good feel of what it was like.

"Amazing" is definitely a good word to describe it.

Tastyfolk--past and present--that I was able to meet: radu, Rapture Man, Tronster, Infrared, DJ Yo-yo, and DJ 9.

haha I shot a couple 30 second videos with my cell phone... those definately did not come out clear, I just thought they looked cool with all the glowsticks flying around . :-)

In hindsight, I wish we'd set up a Tastyfolk meeting place and time sometime during the event. Jeff Stoltzfus introduced me to everyone I met except DJ 9. Infrared introduced me to him.

Sweet flickr pix! Obviously someone with better equipment than mine.

I love the one of the girl laying on the floor. When Andy spun "Transparent" and most of the people were kneeling or laying in the floor, that was the ultimate moment for me.
